The Bear property hosts a significant molybdenum-copper mineralization originally discovered in 1972.

In 2004 Imperial drilled 5 holes totaling 1,704 metres; best results were from BD04-18 which returned 295.9 metres of 0.059% molybdenum and 0.27% copper. The drill results confirmed the potential for the property to host the volume of ore and the grades necessary for an economic deposit.

In 2007 another 2 holes were drilled and both reported long intervals of molybdenum copper mineralization. Hole BD07-21 returned 378.6 metres grading 0.054% molybdenum and 0.25% copper which included a 178.7 metre interval grading 0.083% molybdenum and 0.30% copper, or 1.13% CuEqv. Hole BD07-21 was drilled in altered intrusive rocks from the top of bedrock to the bottom of the hole, with the best grades in the upper 342 metres. Hole BD07-20 tested an area near the northern boundary of the mineralization. The mineralization and alteration were widespread but the grades were lower.

No exploration program is planned for 2008.

The 6,572 hectare property is located in the Omineca Mining District west of Bear Lake, north of Takla Lake, and 140 kilometres north of Smithers in northwest British Columbia. Infrastructure in the area is excellent with nearby rail, roads, power and airstrip. The property was acquired in 2004 and Imperial owns a 100% interest in the property, subject to a 1.5% NSR which can be purchased by the Company for $1,500,000.
